How to open a service store on UPservice?

Any registered user can create a custom service. Simply click on the "Add Your Service" button on the home page and you will be redirected to the page of creating your service. It's very simple: setting up and publishing your service will take just a few minutes!

P.S. After the publication of the service, make sure that you have set up a payment system so that we can pay the money you have earned!

How to edit my profile?

This is very simple:

  1. Log into your account (you can do this on the Home page, click on Sign In and choose the convenient way for authorization)
  2. Log in to your profile (click on the "Hello" message in the upper right corner of the page)
  3. Under the profile photo, click "Edit profile"

P.S. Make sure your profile is full and email is confirmed before publishing or ordering services. To publish the services, the business name or owner name and your address must be filled in.

Can I delete my service?

You can delete your service at any time

To do this:

  1. Open your profile and find the service you need
  2. Open the service in edit mode (this can be done either by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner of the service card or by entering the service and clicking on the "Edit" button in the right column)
  3. Scroll down and choose "Delete Service"
  4. Confirm it by choosing "Delete Service" again

P.S. We do not recommend deleting the service, this action is final and you cannot restore the service deleted in this way. Remember that every service is a product that you develop. Each published service has a history, rating and subscribers. A successful service attracts more customers and has more chances to get into search queries. The better and the more you work, the more popular your service becomes. Before deleting, consider whether this really makes sense.

Selling Services:

How am I notified of a sale?

When someone buys your service, you get an email notification of the sale and all the necessary information to perform the service.

Also, 24 hours before the meeting, you receive an email with a reminder.

After the work is done, you get a notification that the order is complete.

What is the minimum price of services?

To protect our users, a minimum price has been set for the services. The minimum price for the service at the moment is set at $10.

What are the payout options?

You can pay for any service using your account through a credit card.

Can I cancel my service?

Absolutely, if you change your mind and want to cancel your order, then you can easily cancel your service.

  1. Go to the My Orders section.
  2. Find the service you want to cancel.
  3. Click Cancel Order and confirm canceling again.

If there are less than four hours left before the service, you cannot cancel the service unilaterally. You will have to agree to the cancellation of the service with the service provider. In this case, instead of the "Cancel Order" button, you will see "Cancellation Request ", after you click, the request will be sent for cancellation of the service and the provider can confirm the cancellation of the service.

Money:

How much do I make on each sale?

You earn up to 90% on selling all of your services. UPservice takes only 10% to support the site, the team. We constantly make our services as convenient for sellers and buyers as possible and are working to improve them!

How and when do I get paid?

Transfers from the internal to the external account are made every 1st and 15th day of each month. To receive the transfer, you must have:

  1. $20 or more dollars in the internal account.
  2. Fill payment options on the preferences page.

We send out payouts on the 1st and the 15th of every month as long as your earnings balance reaches $20 for that period. If it doesn't, the total is simply added to the following period instead. Payouts are sent via PayPal (US and Canadian residents also have the option to choose direct deposit (coming soon)).

Please remember that you must declare your income and pay tax in the country in which you live and work. Please carefully read the information on the revenue websites and please remember to pay taxes.

How do I refund a customer?

In order to return money to your customer please contact us using the form on the website or email support@upservice.com and let us know the order number and the reason for the refund.

How can my customers reach me?

When placing an order, your customers can send you a text note with adding information about the order in a special field.

How can I get more customers?

Thanks to UPservice, people find the best services. Working more diligently and raising the rating of your service with assessments and positive comments, you increase the chances that people will find your business and services more often. Services with a large positive rating, reputation and the number of positive reviews often appear in the search. The more and the better you work, the more customers will come to you. We recommend developing different services and not creating duplicates of similar services - this is much more efficient.

Another way is to maintain a balance of prices. Some people are interested in the cheapest offers, while others are interested in quality. We offer convenient tools to satisfy both categories of buyers.

What is UPservice about?

UPservice is an online marketplace offering tasks and services, beginning at a cost of $10 to $5000 per job performed. The site is going to be used primarily by local professionals and businesses who use UPservice to offer their services to customers in Canada and later USA and worldwide. The basic idea of this web platform is to make the sale of local consumer services (cleaning, babysitting, small repairs, etc.) as easy as selling products on platforms like Amazon and eBay.

UPservice is a startup, that was released in January 2018.

What type of services can I find and buy?

UPservice is a flexible system providing huge opportunities for publishing almost any services. You can find exactly the service that you are looking for. We do not limit the range of services that can be published by businesses. Do you need to order food from the restaurant? To find a teacher for your kid? Cut the lawn? Have your nails done? All this and more you can find on our platform and order any service in 2-3 clicks, selecting the right time, quality of service and its price.

Can I buy a service in another city?

Of course, you can order a service from another city, for example, for your friends. In this case, the system will show you a warning that the service is far from you (and the time difference if it is in a different time zone) and cannot be delivered to your primary address.

When ordering, make sure you give the correct new address; it will be saved in your account

Can I buy a service as a gift?

You can order the service to another address or even to another city. Since the service function as a gift is in development, when buying a service for one of your friends, you must notify them yourself about the gift.

How do I leave a feedback for the UPservice team?

What are the payment options?

Purchase can be made with your credit card. Try it, it is very convenient.

Can I cancel a purchase?

Yes, of course, you can cancel the purchase:

  1. Enter your profile
  2. Go to the My Orders tab
  3. Select the service that you would like to cancel and click Cancel.
  4. Confirm cancellation

Can I leave a comment or rate a service?

Yes, of course, the rating and commenting system plays a big role in UPservice. To protect our users and to show the most reliable estimates, comments are only allowed to users who bought the service. Immediately after the work is done you can go to the page of the service you like and evaluate it. Moreover, by doing so, you will help the other users and the service if you like it.

Can I complain on or about a service?

Yes, of course, you can leave feedback on the service on its page, putting a fair evaluation and comment. If you feel you need to report a service violation, please use the form on the Contact Us page and indicate the reason for the dissatisfaction and the order number (if applicable).

Can I get a refund in case of a bad service?

If you are not satisfied with the quality of service, you can open a dispute. Use the Contact Us form and please indicate the order number, the cause of the dissatisfaction and attach photos showing the subject of discussion (if applicable). Decisions for each individual case are made individually.

Please remember that UPservice is an open platform and we are not responsible for the poor performance of non-core employees or companies. You can always choose services with a higher rating or save money by finding developing services. We provide our users with absolute freedom in finding suitable services.

I made an appointment and nobody came, what do I do?

We are very sorry to hear that this happened. Please go to the Contact Us page and specify the order number and description of the problem. We will review your case within 3 days and cancel the payment. If more than 3 days have passed, we will make a refund.

If the service does not fulfill the job declared in the announcement, this is a serious violation of the service policy entailing a significant reduction in the service rating, or (in the case of repetitions) it’s blocking.

How do I change or reset my password?

How do I edit my account information?

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Under the profile picture, click the Edit Profile button. Your profile is information about your business - users can subscribe to their favorite businesses to receive updates and information about new published services.

Notifications:

What are the notifications about?

Notifications remind you of important changes in the services on the pages that you added to your favorites. Notifications show the status of the service order, the appointment, the status of the work and money transfer. You can manage your notifications from Preferences.

  3. Enable or disable notifications.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?
